Housing, Help, and Hope for Homeless Mothers
OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A SUPPORTIVE AND STRUCTURED RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH
HOMELESS MOTHERS CAN ACQUIRE THE SKILLS AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT.
INNterim Housing Corporation consists of two transitional housing programs in Baltimore County, Maryland that take in women and children having nowhere else to go. We give these families a place to call home for up to two (2) years and work closely with them to develop a plan to rebuild their lives.
Most of our participants are young mothers in their twenties who are homeless because of abusive relationships, spouse or partner abandonment, loss of income, mental illness, substance abuse, poor money management, or a combination of these.
Lacking in education and marketable skills, these women are unable to maintain the level of employment required for independence. Our program and resources help these women become employed at a living wage, move to permanent housing, maintain self sufficiency and transition back to the community.
Building pathways to economic independence for homeless women and their children.
